1. Identity of the data controller

2. What data we collect and why

We collect personal data when you actively provide it through the contact and project brief form on this site. The data collected is limited to:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Project type and timeline
  • Project scope description and any reference material or source data you choose to submit

Purpose: responding to your enquiry and, where you proceed with a project, scoping and delivering the requested LoRA training service. We do not use form submissions for marketing, profiling or any purpose other than the direct handling of your enquiry or project.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — processing is necessary to take steps at your request, and, where applicable, to perform a contract you have entered into with us.

3. Reference material and third-party data submitted for training

Where a project involves training a model or adapter on reference material you supply (images, video, text, conversational data or other source data), you are responsible for ensuring you hold the necessary rights and, where the material depicts or contains personal data of any third party, the necessary legal basis and, where applicable, consent for that material to be used for this purpose.

For Edge projects, you may also share technical information about the target hardware or deployment environment. This information is used solely to scope and optimise the delivered model and is retained under the same terms as other project material.

We process such material solely to perform the requested training job. We do not use client-submitted material to train any model outside the scope of the specific engagement, and we do not share it with third parties except sub-processors strictly necessary to deliver the service, under equivalent confidentiality and data protection obligations.

Retention of project material: reference material, source data and any intermediate training artefacts submitted or generated for a project are retained for 30 days from the later of submission or project completion, after which they are permanently deleted. We do not retain this material beyond that period, and we accept no liability for material retained beyond the stated window through no fault of our own (for example, delays in project confirmation). Where a longer retention period is required or requested for an ongoing engagement, this is agreed separately in writing.

4. Cookies and tracking technologies

This site does not set tracking cookies. We do not use analytics platforms, advertising networks, pixel trackers or any third-party tracking technology for non-authenticated navigation.

If session functionality is required for a specific service, a technical session cookie may be set. It is not used for tracking and expires at the end of the session.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent or otherwise transmit your personal data to third parties, except where required by applicable law or regulation, or to sub-processors strictly necessary to deliver a requested service, as described in section 3.

Data submitted through this site is processed on WIDE-controlled infrastructure within the European Union.

6. Data retention

Contact enquiry data is retained only as long as necessary to handle the correspondence and any follow-up. Project reference material and source data follow the 30-day retention period described in section 3. Non-meaningful data and data older than five years is deleted unless a different retention period is established by law, an ongoing business relationship or legal proceedings.

7. AI Act and automated processing

Services offered through this site involve training and adapting machine learning models, including image and video LoRA adapters (Visual), text and conversational models (Language), and compact models for on-device or IoT deployment (Edge), each within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the AI Act). We do not use client-submitted material for any purpose beyond the scoped engagement, and we do not use this service to generate content intended to deceive as to its artificial origin.

Visual and Language deliverables: you are responsible for ensuring that your intended use of any trained model, adapter or its outputs complies with the AI Act and any other applicable law, including obligations relating to transparency, labelling of AI-generated or AI-modified content, disclosure to end users that they are interacting with an AI system where required (Article 50 AI Act), and, where relevant, the rights of individuals depicted in training material or generated output.

Edge deliverables: once a trained model is deployed on your own hardware or infrastructure, you become responsible for its ongoing compliant operation, including any obligations arising from personal data the deployed device or system may collect or process (for example, from cameras or sensors) once it leaves our infrastructure. We remain the controller only for data processed during the scoping and training phase, as described in section 3.

We do not knowingly provide services for prohibited AI practices under Article 5 of the AI Act, and we reserve the right to decline or discontinue any engagement we reasonably believe would result in such use.

8. Your rights under GDPR

As a data subject you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Erasure — request deletion of your data where there is no legal basis to retain it.
  • Restriction — request that we limit processing in certain circumstances.
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Complaint — lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante) or the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
